What Shall I Wear?

Attire, styles, and modes of appearance for WAIS students are those that are not detrimental to the learning environment of the school and the safety and general welfare of all students and faculty.

Students can also purchase any item of clothing from our online school store with Gemini Imprints, as part of the uniform policy. You can buy Westy Academy gear decked out with our brand new Owl logo! Choose from a wide selection of short sleeves, polos, crew neck sweaters, long sleeve shirts, hoodies, and more--with different color options too!

Sizes Toddler (pre-k) through Adult offered.

Orders placed through locally owned Gemini Imprints, and then sent directly to the school for pick up by the student or parent!

Students can wear any clothing with our school logo on it as part of the student uniform dress code.

Royal blue, navy blue, or forest green collared shirts or sweaters.

Pants:                      

Khaki or Navy Blue pants, shorts or skirts/skorts. Jumpers may be worn.  Minimum length for shorts and skirts/skorts is "four fingers above knee"

 

 

 

 

 

Shoes: 

Can be any color or style in a closed toe tennis shoe. Tennis shoes are required for participation in P.E. 
No Heelies (roller shoes). Maintain appropriate shoes for the season. 

Closed toed tennis shoes of any style or color are to be worn to school daily. This is so students can play safely on the playground and participate in P.E. 

Most of these items can be purchased at Walmart, Target, Second Hand Stores and most discount stores.  

If a student arrives at school and is not compliant with the uniform code, a phone call will be made to the parent/s and they will need to bring the appropriate apparel.

¿Cómo me debovestir?  

Las vestimentas, estilos, y maneras de vestir de WAIS son aquellas que no interfieren con el ambiente educativo de la escuela, y la seguridad y bienestar general de todos los estudiantes y la facultad.   

Camisas: 

Camisas con cuello o suéter en azul rey, azul marino, o verde bosque.  

Los estudiantes también pueden usar cualquier camisa / suéter con el logotipo de la escuela Westminster Academy. Si está interesado en comprar ropa con el logotipo de la escuela, comuníquese directamente con la oficina. 

 

 

 

 

 

Pantélones:           

Pantalones, pantalones cortos, o falda / falda/pantalón en caqui o azul marino. También pueden usar jumpers.  El corto mínimo para los shorts y las faldas es de “cuatro dedos sobre la rodilla.”       

 

Zapatos:  

Zapatillas deportivas (tenis) de cualquier color o estilo, con los dedos cubiertos.  Se requiere el uso de zapatillas deportivas para educación física.   

 Para la escuela, tienen que usar zapatillas deportivas con los dedos cubiertos todos los días.   Esto es para asegurarnos que los niños pueden jugar en el patio y en educación física sin problemas.   

La mayoría de estos artículos se pueden comprar en Walmart, Target, tiendas de segunda mano, y en la mayoría de las tiendas de descuento.    

Si un estudiante viene a la escuela sin el uniforme, llamaremos a los padres y ellos tendrán que traer un cambio de ropa apropiado.
